Welcome to Battleground Community Kids! We are so excited that you have chosen to visit our page. We have some very exciting things happening and we would love for your child to come worship and grow in the gospel with us. Our Kids Ministry Leader is Stacey Raines. And we have a team of people who serve on monthly rotations who love the gospel of Jesus Christ and are passionate about discipling and sharing the love of Jesus to our Kids.
At Battleground Community we believe parents are the primary disciple makers of their children. As parents, God has entrusted you with the responsibility of stewarding and disciplining your children, therefore, we endeavor to help you raise kids who love Jesus, by encouraging, equipping, and assisting you toward that end. Our desire is to partner with parents and families at Battleground Community in the discipleship process of their kids. Each weekend, we seek to engage each kid with the Gospel in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Kids Sunday Morning
Kids Check-In is easily located at the center back of our main church lobby, which is at the entrance of our Kids area. Trained leaders and trained security are at our Kids Check-In area to keep your Kids secure and help you find the correct classroom for your kids.
Battleground Kids Ministry has classes from brith through 5th grade, each separated by Nursery (Babies-2 YO), Toddlers (3-4 Year Olds), and Older Kids (5 YO-5th Grade). With this said, we understand that every kid is different and that they learn and mature at their own pace. We aim to provide an avenue where we partner with the parent/guardian so that every kid can learn and grow in the Word of God, right where they are personally.
We don't believe that the age of the child matters as much as their overall ability to grasp the Word of God and their maturity level. Therefore, we like partnering with the parent to decide whether the child is ready to move up to the next aged class. If the child isn’t ready to be moved up to the next class, he/she can remain in their current classroom with no shame and will then be moved up at their own pace when they begin to mature and when the parent believes they are ready to be moved up.

A little about the The Biggest Story curriculum: The Biggest Story Curriculum incorporates a host of integrated print and digital components to teach kids key Bible stories from Genesis to Revelation. Featuring 104 Old and New Testament Scripture lessons for kindergarten through fifth grade, the curriculum set provides over 2 years of teaching material that will help children understand God’s plan to redeem the world through His Son, Jesus.
