Purpose
The Worship Leader serves Battleground Community Church by leading Christ-exalting worship that supports the preaching of God's Word. Working alongside the Lead Pastor, the Worship Leader provides spiritual, musical, and organizational leadership to help the church glorify God and make disciples.

Purpose
The Worship Leader serves Battleground Community Church by leading Christ-exalting worship that supports the preaching of God's Word. Working alongside the Lead Pastor, the Worship Leader provides spiritual, musical, and organizational leadership to help the church glorify God and make disciples.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and lead weekly worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
- Select songs, Scripture readings, and service elements that support the sermon.
- Recruit, schedule, and develop worship volunteers.
- Provide oversight for audio, visual, and livestream ministries.
- Coordinate worship for special services and church events.
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity.
- Affirm the Baptist Faith and Message and support the mission and values of Battleground Community Church.
- Musical ability, leadership skills, and a shepherd’s heart.
- Humility, teachability, and organizational and communication skills.
- Become a member of Battleground Community Church.
- Part-time position averaging 10-12 hours per week.
- Attendance at weekly worship planning meetings.
- Annual salary: $12,500.
